Easter visit with dad!

We went into Mikes the night before Easter to visit with the family, dad & Donna. My sister thought we were th Brady Bunch and wanted to pose on the stairs, along with us are our adopted brothers and sisters, Ben & Bonnie, Jared and Nikki. We love hanging out with them, they are crazy like us!!!

The Vegas Skate Parks

Russ decided spur of the moment to take the boys to vegas over spring break for a skate park marathon!! The had a blast and went to about 10 different skate parks between St. George and Las Vegas. The boys were in 7th heaven and didnt want to come home. After a long day of skateboarding, Russ took them on the strip with dirty faces and smelly clothes!!! They rode the Roller coaster at New York New York & THEY LOVED IT!!! Now they want to go every weekend!!!

New phase, new job!!

Guys, I'm hitting a new phase in my life and It freaks me out!!! Brody (my baby) started kindergarten this last year and instead of breaking me in slowly he was put in ALL DAY kindergarten. I was a little nervous at first and didnt know how well we would adjust to this new change, I think I was taking it harder than him. I've been a stay at home mom for several years and did a little daycare on the side, well since Brody went back to school I just didnt see the sense in doing daycare anymore when I didnt have my own kids at home, Anyway, Brody did in fact adjust quickly and loved it, in fact he didnt want to ever miss a day and first term he got the perfect attendance award, crazy huh??? I never got an award like that!!! Huh, mom???
Well, I thought I'd enjoy my alone time for awhile and these past couple months I decided maybe it was time for me to find a part time job and do something with my time and start putting money away. I wanted something that I would still be home with the kids and be able to get them to and from school. I put in a few applications and finally got me a job for the school district, I absolutely love it!!! I'm home early during the day and always off when my kids are out of school, I can still work and still be a mom and couldnt ask for more!!! Russ has been very supportive of me and just wants me to be happy with whatever I decide to do.
I know this seems a little silly but it has been very hard for me this year with all these changes going on in my life, going back to work has been very difficult but I'm also looking froward to this new phase and I just hope it works well with my family. Wish me lots of luck with my new job!! I love you all!!!

Bathroom Trio "Rockband"

Russells family like to get together and play "Rockband" they do it so often they decided to call themselves the Bathroom Trio, Russ thinks he is the manager of this popular group, so I brought it on myself to make them all t-shirts with The Bathroom Trio printed on the front, now they wear them everytime they play. Pictured here are Russ, Luke, Jake and Erin (Jakes wife) It was actually alot of fun to watch, I want to get one of these for my family!!

Russells 36th Birthday

We just celebrated Russells 36th Birthday with a BBQ at home & with his brothers and their wives, Luke & Aimee, Jake & Erin. We watched some old home videos and just laughed and played all night, we had a good time!! Hope you had a great Birthday Russ, I love you!!! Kimbers 14th Birthday! WOW!!!

Okay, Kimber just had her 14th birthday, Boy do I feel old!!! She is growing up so fast and we love her to death, she always has us laughing... she kind of reminds me of her Aunt Jodi. LOL!!! heres some of her friends that she celebrated it with, they were trying to act serious in this pic but we all had a good time!!

Valentines Day/ Snow-day

It was Valentines day and School had been canceled because of the snow, the kids were bummed out because they were having parties and wanted to pass out Valentines cards but it only lasted for awhile, Once the shock wore off they played out in the snow all day! we later took them to dinner and went to the nickel cades as a family. It was a good time!!!
